Although our Ladies did not play on Saturday after their stunning 3-1 victory in Dundee on Thursday evening, there was a game of great significance to them being played at ASV between Granite City Wanderers Ladies and Fjordhus Reivers Ladies.

GCW ran out 3-1 winners which now means that, even with 2 matches still to play, neither Fjordhus Reivers nor Grove Menzieshill can reach Gordonians current points tally of 32 points.

Congratulations on an excellent season to all of our Ladies 1st team squad led by their captain Amy Ashton. Great credit also goes to Coach Richard Freeland, and to Assistant Coach Ross Hyland. The league was won with our club's traditional mix of youth and experience in the squad.

Their record so far is 10 wins, 2 draws, and only 1 defeat (which was to Fjordhus in the Borders). Our Ladies have scored 47 goals and conceded only 18 with clean sheets in 3 matches.
