Gordonians H.C. Club Day for 2025-26 season was enjoyed in the Countesswells sunshine by around 60 players and supporters. First up was an entertaining Ladies match between our O-18s and our U-18s followed by the Awards presentation and a buffet lunch, both pitch-side. Then it was the Men's turn to take to the pitch for their O-18s vs U-18s match. This was a fitting way not only to end the season but also to say farewell to a watered pitch which has served the Club and the College so well since 2004. Head Groundsman Donny Reid and his staff have maintained it expertly to give it a life of 22 years when the manufacturer's expectancy was only 10-12 years. Look out for a new pitch in August !
The Awards ceremony also included presentation of the Scottish Women's National League Trophy to Ladies 1s Captain Amy Rutherford and members of her team. Our thanks go to those members who organised the trophies & engraving, and the food. Here is the full awards list followed by photos of the deserving winners and today's teams.
