All the games were very evenly matched, very fast paced, and physical. Ulster scored most of their goals on the break.

In summary, our Gordonians girls all made significant contributions:
Juliet Brown scored 2 goals and had 1 assist
Arabella Winn had 2 assists
Anna Goodbrand made several great saves including a penalty flick

Game 1 Friday 5 June was a loss 3-4 with Juliet scoring her first international goal and Anna saving a penalty flick
Game 2 Saturday 6 June was a win 4-2 with Juliet scoring one goal and assisting another goal. Arabella assisted another of Scotland's goals
Game 3 Sunday 6 June was a draw 2-2 with Arabella again assisting a goal

Juliet played 2 of the 3 games ( she was travelling with RGC on the day of the 3rd match ) and Anna and Arabella played 3 out of 3.

Anna (pictured) made several amazing saves during the 3 games including that great save of a penalty flick in the first game.

Juilet played right attack midfield and centre attack midfield. Arabella played attacker for the first two games and then centre attack midfield for the final game.

Arabella said of the weekend
“Getting to put on the Scotland kit was so special and it was such an amazing opportunity to represent my country with amazing teammates. I feel very fortunate. “

Gordonians Hockey Club is extremely proud of all three girls making such important contributions in their first appearances for Scotland and feels sure they will be awarded many more international caps in the years ahead. Congratulations to them and to all their coaches and parents who have helped them to reach international level.
