MEN's 1s 0 - 4 Kelburne 1s
This was a closer game than the result suggests however 2nd placed Kelburne eventually broke the deadlock and scored again shortly after to take control of the game. Our Men are now placed 4th in the Men's National League.

LADIES 1s 1 - 0 Granite City Wanderers 1s
This game was closely contested throughout by these teams who knew each other well and defended resolutely. The match was won by a penalty corner goal expertly scored by Abbie Coote. In a well practised move Abbie ran in from the right side of the D to deflect into the goal a ball which had been directed towards the right hand post by Laura Graham on strike.
Although Grove Menzieshill also won yesterday, our Ladies have maintained their 2 point lead at the top of the Women's National League.

LADIES 2s 2 - 0 Granite City Wanderers 2s
This was a repeat of the score-line when these teams met in the away fixture. Katharine Descamps scored in the first half from open play by defecting a shot by Arabella Winn. Half time: 1-0 Arabella was also involved in creating our second goal which was scored by Kate Mitchell at the back post. (Our thanks to Leigh Barr for the goal descriptions). This was our Ladies 2nds 9th league win this season with a 100% record so they top the North District Women's Division One.

SUNDAY 08 March

MEN's 3s 0 - 8 MEN's 2s
This was actually a close match with the score-line flattering our 2s. The score was 0-1 at half-time but the 2s pulled away through clinical finishing in the second half. Scorers: Will Poole 3, Adam Walker 2, Alan Clark 2 and Kenny Steele. (Our thanks to Alan Clark for this report)
