Borders v Merlins 1st XI

Tomorrow will see Merlin’s Gordonians 1st XI hit the ground running with their first game of the second half of the season. Currently sitting in a comfortable 4th position in the league, the girls will make the long journey down to Borders for a 12.30pm pass back.
An early meet at the Seafield Club often has the girls in a grump for the rest of the day but spirits are high this week with coach Kerry Smith providing an intense and enjoyable session on Wednesday, so nothing will bring them down.
Despite Borders sitting second bottom in the league a squad of 15 girls in yellow will make the journey down to ensure they walk away with 3 points. The squad are missing some essential goal scorers with Aimee Clark, Zoe Sinclair and Mo Hardie unavailable however, within the squad is Milly Merry and Emma Lambert both making their debut for Merlins, with goals expected from both youngsters (no pressure) they are sure to be an asset to the squad.
The squad will be sure to be found in the Seafield Club on their return, for those who fancy a celebratory jaegarbomb with the girls.
