El Presidente Pedro Fraser has issued a call to all players and supporters to head down to Aberdeen Sports Village this Saturday at 3pm to support your Men's 1st XI in their first local derby match of the season against our North District hockey cousins, Granite City Wanderers.

The new look Gordonians M1 have started their season in National 2 well under new Head Coach Graham Stuart and captain Craig Falconer; but are definitely a fresher faced outfit this season with the inclusion of the young pelican under 18s (J. Rathbone, S. Hill, M. Davidson, C. Moon, J. Morrison & G. Jones) who have been developing in the M2 & M3 for the last 2-3 seasons; and our new summer transfers in (W. Shepherson, P. Keane, M, Humphreys, S. Harper, A.Moody) who have replaced some of our regular M1 players who have retired from M1/left the club & Aberdeen through work & studying opportunities down South.

Hopefully this will be a good game for players and fans of hockey in the North.
