NORTH U-15 BOYS ARE CHAMPIONS AGAIN
North U-15 Boys Coach, Brian Fitzpatrick was delighted with his squad saying
"Today, for the second year in a row, North District have won the U15 Boys Scottish Inter-District Hockey Tournament, held down at the National Hockey Centre in Glasgow. We topped our group with a 3-0 win over South, a 1-1 draw against West Cerise and a 2-1 win over East Navy. In the semi-finals we overcame Midlands 2-1, which sent us into the finals to replay a group game against West Cerise. Again, the match was very evening balanced, and with less than a minute to go, it looked like it was to go to running penalties, until we managed to convert a chance in the D with seconds to spare."

NORTH U-15 GIRLS
North U-15 Girls Coach, Jocelyn Roberts, tells us that her squad lost to East Purple, South, and West Gold, and drew with South West. Our girls in the squad were Olivia Leiper, Pippa Carry, Yasmin Wiseman, and Juliette Descamps.
Gordonians Hockey Club is proud of all 11 players for being selected to compete in such closely contested tournaments and of all the parents who travelled down to Glasgow to support them.
Great credit should also go to all our youth coaches involved in helping to develop them to this level, and to the North District coaches.
