The Bursary Fund at RGC launched in Scott’s memory is now complete.

Scott Forsyth was a long serving GHC playing member and team captain, and a great friend to many. He played for every team in the club starting out in the 4ths as a schoolboy. Scott's love of the club was there for all to see in his pre-match and half-time talks, in his work rate on the pitch, and in his after match celebrations. The passion with which Scott sang the old school song “ Gordonienses Sumus” (Gordonians are we) on our European trips and after cup victories is legendary.

Scott passed away tragically at the young age of 33 in 2008. His family launched a bursary fund at RGC in his memory and enough was raised to cover the fees for a pupil to attend the College from 2009 until leaving after 6th year in 2015. The second pupil is currently in 1st year, and now that the fund is complete it will forever provide free secondary school education at Robert Gordon’s College to a deserving pupil.

Scott himself was a bursary boy, and would have been extremely proud to know that his family, friends, work colleagues, and indeed some members of GHC have achieved this in his name.
