Ailsa Phimister, Merlins Gordonians, was selected to play three matches for Scotland U-15 Girls against England U-15 sides in a tournament at St Albans in August. This was Ailsa's first selection at international level and given her progress over the last few years there will be many more to come.

Ailsa developed her hockey in Perth, Australia before moving with her family to Aberdeen a few years ago. Her Mum, Sheila, also plays for Merlins Gordonians and mother and daughter have played in the same side on several occasions.

Ailsa made her National League debut on 8th September and scored her first goal for the 1st team in a 5-0 victory over Inverleith Ladies.

Our congratulations go to Ailsa, and all the coaches who have helped her reach this level !
