Our youth coaching sessions have proved to be very successful over the last ten years with an average of 90 boys and girls from P4 to S6 progressing from the basic skills to playing for our U-14, U-16 or U-18 teams and then for the senior mens or ladies teams from as early as S4. We have taken U18 Boys teams on tour to Holland every Easter since 2004. In summer 2009 we achieved a club record of 6 boys selected for Scotland teams: two at U21, three at U18 and one at U16.

Coaching is held every week during the hockey season at the RGC astroturf pitches on Countesswells Road. Our coaches have all attended Child Protection courses and hold Disclosure Scotland certificates. Sticks are available for use at the sessions until the child has one of their own.

For 2010/2011 the sessions will begin as follows:

P4-S4 - every Tuesday from 31st August - 7th December 5.15pm - 6.30pm (Resuming 11th January)

S5-S6 - every Thursday from 26th August - 9th December  5.15pm - 6.30pm  (Resuming 13th January)

Fees for the season (August to March) are:

BOYS & GIRLS P4-P7 – £30 (including a club hoodie in year 1)

BOYS S1-S3 - £45 (including a club hoodie in year 1)

BOYS S4-S6 – if only youth section £45 - if playing for Gordonians Mens Teams £75

GIRLS S1-S2 – £45 (including a club hoodie in year 1)

GIRLS S3-S6 – if only youth section £45 - if playing for Gordonians Ladies Teams £75
